As a Yard Operative you will ensure the office and yards are maintained including all fire extinguishers (office, yard and trucks) as well as being a key holder and emergency contact. Responsibilities: * Closing of depot, yard and office. * Key holder and emergency contact. * External Painting. * Ensuring the yard is clean, tidy and free of weeds. * Emptying of bunds around tanks and vapour recovery, cleaning of tank filters and storage tanks. * General maintenance within the office, yard and outbuildings, including tanks, loading arms and printer unit. * Cover for warehouse. * Apollo fitting. Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role with practical skills (at least one years experience). * Manual driving licence, (must be comfortable driving a transit van). * Organised and have attention to detail. * Forklift Licence or knowledge. * Ability to work on own or as a team. * Able to organise daily work.

Day shift is based on rotating shift patterns which include 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, 10:00-18:00 and 11:00 - 19:00. You will need to be able to work across these different shift patterns. Night Shift is 8:30 - 05:00 Pay: Day shift is £12.21 per hour Night shift is £13.29 per hour There are also lots of opportunities for overtime which is after 8 hours and on Saturdays. The role will include picking and packing orders in a busy warehouse. You must have a can do attitude, be a team player, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have good attention to detail. This role might involve heavy lifting. Previous experience of heavy lifting is ideal due to the type of products you will be repacking.
