Security is an integral part of the larger Estates and Facilities Department. They are responsible for supporting and delivering all aspects of security-related services throughout Canterbury and the wider Campus Network. The Security team aims to offer and deliver a flexible, value added flexible and professional service to meet the needs and expectations of students, staff and guests. We ar currently looking to recruit a Security Officer to our night shift. The successful candidate will have experience in security or a related customer service-based area and will understand that our students, staff and guests are at the forefront of all that we do. Experience in the use of and monitoring access control/CCTV systems/fire alarm systems would also be an advantage as would a current SIA DS license. Applicants will be able to demonstrate their customer focused skills, combined with effective written and verbal communication skills.
